**Please see food assignments at the bottom of this post...
Here's the plan for the camping trip this weekend:
Load up bikes tomorrow (Wednesday). Brother Ririe will secure them in his backyard until Friday, when he will load them up again.
Meet at the church Friday 4:30pm
Drive to Angelus Oaks
Mountain Bike 3.5 miles into Thomas Hunting Grounds - a rural camping site accessible only by fire road.
At least one truck will deliver gear directly to camp (tents, sleeping bags, cooking equipment, etc).
Set up camp, cook dinner, sleep.
Next day pack up, make breakfast, bike back.
Does my scout have to carry gear while biking? No, the truck will haul it in and out of camp.
Will we be riding in the dark? We hope not. If we run out of daylight, we will drive in on Friday night, and only bike back on Saturday.
Menu for 20-24 people: Tacos for dinner, cold cereal and bacon for breakfast
